Title: Further strengthening broadband management initiative: creating PacketFront Software Solutions AB

PacketFront Software Solutions AB is effective as of today, 1st of November, and will be part of PacketFront Holding AB, which contains 3 legal independent entities:

- PacketFront International AB (containing the businesses of CPEs, Access products and complete FTTH solutions for the Swedish market)

- PacketFront Shanghai Ltd (R&D center for the PacketFront Group) and the newly formed and hereby announced PacketFront Software Solutions AB (offering broadband management solutions). The reasons for this change are to enable us to enter new market segments and to liaise with other equipment manufacturers. With this move we gain the required independence and neutrality when dealing with equipment manufacturers.

- PacketFront Software Solutions AB will be headed by Ulf Avrin, who is today VP for the Broadband Management Solutions business unit.

"PacketFront Software Solutions" mission is to offer management solutions and to radically improve the operations for broadband operators who are using a variety of broadband technologies, including fiber, xDSL or WiMax in their networks. Our aim is to deliver service provisioning solutions to operators primarily in Europe and Middle East independent of their access supplier and applied broadband technologies. We are extremely excited about the business opportunities we see in front of us," says Ulf Avrin CEO PacketFront Software Solutions.

"This is the right and necessary decision in order to further expand our software solution business into new customer segments. It is an excellent and very experienced team that is driving PacketFront Software Solutions and I am convinced they will be able to capture the full potential of our BECS and BBE product suites,’" says Henrik Scharp, CEO PacketFront Holding AB.
