December 2010 Johan Bergman has joined PacketFront. He will be VP Sales for the Business Unit FTTH Solutions. PacketFront announced this autumn the new strategy to focus on 2 Business Units, which are called Broadband Management Solutions and FTTH Solution. The first one includes the PacketFront software suit and encompasses control and provisioning of multi-access technology with multi-vendor equipment. The latter one is PacketFront's traditional business area and Johan's task is to accelerate new business in this field. Prior to joining PacketFront, Johan has worked in the telecommunication industry for more than 25 years and had assignments with several well-known companies such as Britishtelecom, Upnet, Netinsight and Netadmin. Thus he is very familiar with the industry. "It is an exciting task being offered to me and my aim is to quickly drive business and spread the PacketFront solution further in the FTTH world. PacketFront has a very strong customer base and brand, and it has a distinctive set of products which together compile fantastic solutions with unique selling points. The key is now to make these even more known and accessible to the market", says Johan Bergman. "With Johan we strengthen our sales management in our important core business and both our Business Units now have experienced sales leaders able to focus on expanding our business further. Johan's deep relationship with FTTH customers and his proven expertise in solution sales makes him the perfect person to lead our sales efforts in the FTTH area.
