Title: Nick Collison moves from Swets in London to Prenax in New York

Swets' "Man in the City", Nick Collison, AKA the CIG Chair, is moving companies and countries this month.

He has accepted a position to join Prenax in their New York office. There he will concentrate on building up their financial services business to mirror his success in London. He has resigned his position of Chair of the City Information Group (CIG) but will be active within the SLA in New York almost immediately.

Nick Collison has worked within the corporate sector for the past 15 years, most recently almost exclusively in the City in publishing, book retailing and, latterly, as the man responsible for establishing Swets in the square mile.

On his new role he says, "I have been working within the B2B market with Swets for the past 4 years and have found my experience with them rewarding both professionally and personally. But now I have a new and exciting challenge with Prenax who have emerged as a uniquely corporate-focused player offering the kind of service this sector expects. The New York element makes the opportunity even more exciting!"

Robbie Frazer, Managing Director of Prenax, added, "I'm delighted to welcome Nick to the team. He lives the business and has shown a real passion for his customers, many of whom he considers friends. Nick has done wonderfully well in building business in the B2B sector and his flair for corporate subscriptions management dovetails nicely with Prenax's focus on the corporate customer. It's a very good match."
