Title: Transmode 5th in Deloitte's Sweden Technology Fast 50

Transmode today announced that it has been awarded 5th place in Deloitte's Sweden Technology Fast 50 in recognition of outstanding revenue growth.

The Deloitte Fast 50 competition recognises the fifty fastest growing companies based on percentage revenue growth over five years. Participants can be public or private, and encompass all technology industry segments including communications, computers and peripherals, internet, life sciences, semiconductors and software. With a revenue increase of 1308% Transmode were placed in 5th position in the league table of Sweden's top technology companies.

All winners of Sweden Technology Fast 50 are automatically nominated for Deloitte's Europe Fast 500. The results of this award will be announced soon.

"We are delighted to have obtained this high ranking within the Deloitte Sweden Fast 50," said Michael Crossey, Transmode's VP of Marketing and Business Development. "This recognises the huge advances we have made since the company was founded in 2000. Our success since those early days stems from the development of CWDM and unamplified DWDM as disruptive technologies to address real customer demands. The use of these innovative technologies has allowed numerous enterprises to deploy systems that previously would have been uneconomic and also network operators to increase their market share whilst reducing CAPEX and OPEX."

Transmode's optical networking portfolio continues to enjoy market success with 120% growth from 2003 to 2004 and a number of significant customer wins in 2005. New customers in 2005 include Telenor, 3 Denmark, BaneTele, Gamma Telecom, Citylink Broadband, Transport for London and PacketExchange, in addition to a number of unannounced customers in Europe and North America.
